Riscone Plan de Corones

The characteristic Riscone Plan de Corones ski resort lies on this Plateau. Riscone lies in the immediate surroundings of the Plan de Corones skizone valley station, where the modern chair- and ski-lifts will let you reach 2275 meters of altitude. The name "Riscone" has its origins in the "Burg Rischon" (Rischon Castle) name, located above the town.
